Despite what the people that sell diets tell you, it’s not about exactly what you eat.
Despite what the people that sell work out programs and fitness equipment tell you, it’s not about exactly how you exercise.
It’s about how well you stand up to the people that profit from your failure to have a life of health and freedom.
After failing more than a dozen times to have a body I could be proud of over thirty years, it finally hit me.
My body doesn’t know if I’m on a $4000 treadmill, or going up stairs. It doesn’t know if I’m lifting a gold plated dumb bell, or a rock.
All it knows is that I’m using it the way it was designed to be used.
My body doesn’t care if I’m feeding it carrots, or squash. It doesn’t care if I eat an orange, or a bannana.
All it knows it that I’m feeding it the foods it was designed and created to eat.
Everything you need to transform your body, life, and future is under your nose. Weight loss information, experts, and gurus are everywhere.
You want to buy a diet book that tells you how to prepare meals with natural foods? Want to by an Internet work out program?
Buy them.
Just remember, whatever you buy is not going to change you.
You have to change you.
The reality is the people that sell unhealthy products are everywhere. And the only way they profit is when they successfully “play” your emotions and get you to buy something that you know deep down is not good for you.
Anymore, you almost have to go out of your way to find food that won’t make you fat.
Don’t think you have to buy a special diet, just eat a variety of foods that don’t come from a factory.
Don’t wait to buy the ideal work out routine, just get in the habit of challenging yourself physically everyday.
Your body is begging to be in the state is was designed to be in; lean and healthy.
It just can’t do it without your help.
When I go to lose weight here’s what I do: I just choose food that does not have a ton of calories. For breakfast, I’ll have eggs instead of oatmeal. For a snack, I’ll have fruit instead of cheese.
Then I do the same thing for my other four or five meals. No work, no counting calories, no effort whatsoever.
The reason I can do this has NOTHING to do with age, smarts, or athletic ability. It’s because I became determined to control my choices. Yes, that took some mental “effort” at first. It does take a little persistence, but those few weeks of effort will pay you back a thousand fold for the rest of your life.
And this is something no product can ever do for you.
It doesn’t matter how you do it, but one day at a time, tell the people that want you to compromise your health so they can have your money this word:
NO.
The better you get at doing that, the sooner your best body [and life] will make their appearance.
