First there was Dexatrim. Then along came Fen-phen, then CLA, then Hoodia, then Acai Berry. I predict very soon, supplement makers and weight loss marketers will be falling all over them selves touting isoleucine as an incredible no diet, no exercise weight loss miracle.
Brace yourself for the no effort weight loss commercials and Internet ads. Why do I predict pending hype over isoleucine- and then scam alerts, disappointment, and lawsuits? It seems ONE Japanese study had this to say:
“An amino acid called isoleucine may play an important role in weight loss.”
It goes on to say:
Researchers fed mice a high-fat diet (45% of calories from fat) for six weeks. After the first two weeks, the mice were divided into two groups. One group received isoleucine in their drinking water while the control group received an inert substance. This continued for the remainder of the study.
Even though their dietary, fluid and caloric intake was the same, the mice who received the isoleucine gained less weight than those in the control group from day 17 to the end of the 28-day treatment period. The mice in the isoleucine group also had lower serum insulin concentrations, but there were no differences in levels of glucose, triglycerides or fatty acids.”
If you’re looking to easily lose weight, I know what you’re thinking: “Who-hoo, I can’t weight to try it.”
Please do not get excited. This will end the same way every other weight loss by pill story ends.
Badly, with thousands of disappointed people- and richer diet and weight loss pill marketers-laughing all the way to the bank. I’ve seen this play out a thousand times, here’s how it ALWAYS goes:
Some new study “proves” or “suggests” something. Then the supplement manufactures and weight loss internet marketers pile on with fake weight loss blogs, fake weight loss news report sites, fake testimonials, fake you name it.
Then thousands of naive and vulnerable people whip out their credit cards for a free 10 day trial, get billed about three of four times for shipments that won’t stop, and up feeling disappointed and taken advantage of.
How do I already know isoleucine can’t work?
Because no pill, herb, tea, patch, cream, lotion, berry, juice, or in this case amino acid, will EVER be able to do what you MUST discover how to do on your own…
Change your unhealthy habits and choices, to healthy ones.
There is a balance to the universe- and your body. You cannot get something for nothing. It’s impossible. That is why 2 out 3 Americans are overweight or obese- their are no shortcuts.
I do not care what this ONE clinical study says about isoleucine. I can promise and guarantee that no amino acid, berry juice, cactus plant- whatever- will have the ability to speed up your metabolism to the extent that your body will burn off huge amounts of excess fat for energy.
Successful and permanent weight loss only works one way, the creation of a calorie deficit. Nothing has the power to alter your body chemistry so greatly, except your daily food and activity choices.
And that includes isoleucine, which I predict, is soon going to be touted as the next weight loss miracle drug.
Why if I’m wrong? What if isoleucine does melt off body fat with no effort?
Here’s why you would still never want to take it:
You were designed to be active. Your body and mind would slowly deteriorate from lack of use. Your health problems would multiply exponentially.
Now let’s say they “super improve” isoleucine to the point where it makes you lose weight with no physical effort- and repairs any “lack of use” damage to your entire body. Want to know why you would still never, ever want to buy isoleucine?
Because that pill could never repair the damage to your mind and spirit.
It would totally conflict with your design. There is no escaping your genetic blueprint. Effort is required to maintain a healthy balance of spirit, mind, and body.
Eating more than what you are designed to eat- and no physical challenges without consequences- would convince your brain there was no problem in being overindulgent and apathetic.
I beg you, please. Do not consider isoleucine- or any other drug or supplement as a new weight loss miracle. You only have ONE body and life. Don’t squander them on shortcuts.
Challenge your body instead- and treat it with integrity.
Doing nothing more than treating your body the way it was designed and created to be treated will transform your life and future in ways you can’t begin to imagine.
That I can guarantee you.
