Here’s a quick answer for those of you that prefer brevity…
If you’re struggling to change the shape of your body, it’s not because of your age, gender, metabolism, or lack of the just the “right” diet or work out.
Unless you have an underlying medical condition, someone is lying to you and / or you’re fighting yourself.
The good news is, once you know AND APPLY the truth, your weight will come off virtually automatically.
You may not even know you’re being lied to- or that you are fighting your own progress. However, once the lies and fights are gone [intentional or not] your body will heal and repair itself with hardly any real effort on your part because that’s what it’s programmed to do.
Here’s how to spot the lies [and how those lies will make you fight yourself].
Great Big Lies: Any diet, pill, weight loss program, tea, berry, patch, etc, that someone wants to sell you. Fact: Two out of three Americans would not be overweight or obese if anything you could buy worked permanently. I know what the advertising says, it’s lies.
The truth is, buying something to help you lose weight permanently [diets can work temporarily] is attempting the impossible- and attempting the impossible is really fighting yourself- and will only make you give up in frustration.
Unintentional Fighting: Food that is marketed as useful for weight loss- and is not. [These include things like sport drinks, orange juice, soy, yogurt, wheat bread, etc.] This is where you are fighting yourself and may not even know it. Fighting yourself here is especially frustrating because you think you’re doing the right thing.
Self Inflicted Fights: Telling yourself that you’re too old, too busy, too out of shape, or too “whatever” to change your unhealthy choices to healthy ones. Call these excuses or whatever you want; doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you are acting as your own worst enemy.
Which brings us to the reason why nothing you can buy will allow you to permanently manipulate the shape of your body [except legitimate fitness equipment].
No diet or weight loss product can make you see all the places where you are fighting yourself [they can however, prevent you from seeing what your personal hurdles are].
After you gain the knowledge to clear out all the places you’re being lied to, that leaves you to put what you know into action and stop fighting yourself with unhealthy choices.
Deep down you know all you have to do is eat right and get some exercise. [It doesn't matter exactly how you go about doing that. If you want to make things as easy as possible, just eat food that doesn't come from a factory and get active for 20 to 30 minutes a day.]
The “truth will set you free” part is this: Once you remove the lies others are telling you, only you know the hurdles to your best body and life – and only you can summon the determination to stop fighting your own progress.
Information on getting healthy is not the problem, it’s everywhere. Once you have the right knowledge, the problem is getting rid of your self imposed anchors. Get started by getting totally honest with yourself- and then take action on your personal hurdles- until they are no longer hurdles.
Anything else will only squander the only body and life you’ll ever have.
