If you want a “new” body – and the amazing new life that comes with it, the best advice I can give you is to…
Make things as easy as possible - especially in the beginning – here’s why…
It takes a little time to turn what you should do, into what you want to do.
If you make things too hard on yourself in the beginning, you’ll never get to the point where your choices become natural and effortless.
I believe there’s two main reasons almost everyone fails here – despite being surrounded by countless diet, weight loss, health, and fitness “solutions.”
First, many people just flat go about it all wrong – which is very easy to do – given the massive amount of misinformation.
They’re sincere, they’re trying, but when they see little or no progress, they give up in frustration.
Which is exactly what I did over and over for thirty years. My big mistake was believing all the advertising that said I needed to eat “health” foods and go on a “special” diet.
Now I know all those soul crushing failures weren’t my fault. I just had the wrong information.
Second, other people do indeed go about it right – but make it so difficult – they give up.
Here’s how to permanently succeed:
First, you must acknowledge the only thing that will ever work is eating natural food and getting active. Since that’s the only thing that will work, let’s see if we can use that simple truth to our advantage.
What you don’t want to do is to try to adapt your life to what some “outside” source thinks you should be eating and doing. What I want you to do instead, is take the proven principles we know never fail…
And adapt them to fit you.
For example, if your “diet” says to eat cottage cheese and tomatoes for breakfast – and you really don’t like cottage cheese and tomatoes – it’s very likely you’re going to give up before you see any encouraging results.
However… if you like bacon, eggs, cheese, cashews, salami, bison burgers, sausage, tuna, – or any other natural food – and I tell you to just pick your favorites and have those for breakfast…
You’ve just made things about 1000 times easier on yourself.
The same premise applies to getting active. If your new fitness DVD has you doing an hour of grueling push ups, sit ups, burpees, and lunges… it’s likely you’re not going to watch that DVD because you’re attempting too big of life style adjustment. However…
If I tell you to just do something you enjoy – walking, tennis, biking, swimming – once again – you’ve just made things 1000 times easier on yourself.
That’s because what matters 1000 times more than exactly what you eat and how you get active is setting the precedent of doing the only thing that works in reality [eating natural food and getting active].
Once you get this down, just keep doing what you’re doing. If you want faster results, gradually add in more challenging choices.
Here’s why this works so well and will have others wondering how you were able to do what they could not – with seemingly minimal effort:
Since you’re going about it right, you’re taking the path of least resistance, which means you’ll begin to see and feel the results almost immediately – which gives you the encouragement to keep going.
And by taking what works and adapting it to fit you, you’re not sending yourself off to a mental and physical “boot camp.” [While that idea may be admirable, it's just not something most people can do "cold turkey."]
Do you see how much easier this can be when you go about right?
Can you imagine how your life will change when you’ve discovered how to control and manipulate the shape of your body?
A new fit, healthier, stronger, and more confident you is already inside, it’s just waiting for the opportunity to come out.
If you’ve failed here in the past, forget about it. We’re going to fix that, together, by avoiding what can’t work and by applying what’s already been proven to work for anyone – regardless of their circumstances.
